Corona Hospital - System Check

Sheba established the first Corona Department in Israel to take in the Israeli patients from the Diamond Princess – and MSR was instrumental in the simulation exercises that Sheba's teams underwent in order to improve the readiness for the unknown scenarios.

Many of the initial protocols were written while simulating various procedures at MSR.

In addition, Sheba established a Corona Hospital and MSR conducted a system check and clinical training of geriatric and internal medicine teams to deal specifically with patients who have the corona virus. Sheba's Geriatric hospital with 300 beds was adapted to admit only corona patients and MSR is assisting these teams to prepare appropriate protocols for safe clinical treatment for these corona patients, most of whom will be light cases – not intensive care.
