In collaboration with the National Institute for Testing and Evaluation (NITE), MSR provides simulation-based humanistic screening of medical school candidates.
Recognizing the limitations of previous standardized tests in selecting those candidates with better humanistic and communication skills, this process serves as a supplement to the previous methods of assessment. This innovative program highlights those that demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills and capacity for compassion in an effort to improve the selection of the physicians of tomorrow. Medical teams from Israel and around the world come to MSR to participate in simulation based training programs to improve their clinical and communication skills.
This experiential form of training enables a participatory, structured and safe learning experience that is video-taped and debriefed, with immediate feedback given to the participants, and without placing patients at risk. The training approach applied at MSR makes extensive use of a wide range of simulation approaches, and integrates both individual and team training. Click for more....
